The 8th edition of the SWR Doku Festival will take place at Stuttgart from June 18–22, 2024. Twelve films have been nominated for the GERMAN DOCUMENTARY AWARD, covering a broad range of topics and creativity. hree other productions are competing separately for the award for the BEST MUSIC DOCUMENTARY. In addition the festival showcases a Retrospective of the HONORARY AWARD 2024 winner Ulrike Ottinger. The award ceremony will take place at the end of the film festival, on June 21, 2024 at Stuttgart.
