REAL FICTION started in 1996 with the distribution of feature-length documentaries for cinema. REAL FICTION films are productions which address people with a special interest in particular films and topics. Films we are interested in deal with an advanced cinema language. The main focus of our film distribution is on documentaries or productions which are mixtures of documentaries and feature films. Therefore our company name symbolizes our programme. We usually release twelve to fifteen films a year, mainly documentaries but also feature films.
REAL FICTION is part of the DVD label GOODMOVIES! specialized in arthouse films on DVD and VoD. REAL FICTION has been awarded with the 'BKM Verleiherpreis' 2009.
