Synopsis
The film tells the story of a German-Iranian orchestra and its leader, the composer and conductor Nader Mashayekhi. The orchestra attempts to perform key works of European musical tradition in Iran and is carried forward by the concept that music and musical expression cannot be prohibited. GOZARAN tells about the hope and failure of an idea that was born in the hearts of the young musicians. Despite the failure of their enterprise, they have learnt to express themselves through music.
