Synopsis
Josef Eisenbauer, Hans Landauer and Gerhard Hoffmann, they didn't know each other even though there weren't so many Austrian Antifascists during the 30ties (just like in Nazi-Germany...). But they all took the same decision: They went into war to fight against the Fascists and the Nazis. This led them to an odyssey of eight years – over the battle fields and through the concentration camps, until they could return back home to Austria.
