STOKED FILMs have been production debuts and second films by young local directors and screenwriters in the past. In the meantime we are working on several international co-productions, feature films and documentaries as well. For several clients we additionally produce smaller formats like information films for the industry.
STOKED FILM’s active company members and owners are Annette Ernst (Writer and Director), Sebastian Popp (Producer, Managing Director and former festival director of the eDIT – The Filmmaker’s Festival) and Robert Malzahn (Producer). Alongside these permanent company members, we work with several long-term collaborators, such as experienced dramatic advisors, associate producers and post production experts.
STOKED is our philosophy and programme: the surfer’s smile after the ultimate wave. Filmmaking is more than a job for us – it’s our passion. Once we’ve taken the ball we run with it, and then nothing is impossible! We find the right format for the ideas we care about.
