    Synopsis

    Berlin 2008. Kaya from Czech Republic wants to get an Expert for Eastern Europe. The dreams of her carrier has she in common with her Italian boyfriend. Stephan from former East Germany spends a lot of time in a very individual band project. But then Stephan is not able to come to rehearsals for 3 months because of his job as a sound technician… Piotr is a phenomen. Nobody knows the timetables between Warszaw and Berlin better than him. Constantly he works for his future. His idol is his cousin in Warszaw, who 'made it' already. What happens, if a 20-years-old takes the plunge and moves to another town or even to another country? What are the conditions for young people from the former Eastern Bloc? And how do they manage to travel between yesterday and tomorrow?
