    Synopsis

Two Iranian filmmakers in exile piece together the story of a brutal and deliberate act: the systematic targeting of protesters' eyes during Iran's 2022 protests.

Working from Berlin, they sift through social media footage from the protests, asking what it means when a regime trains its sights not just on bodies, but on the act of seeing itself. Blind, into the Eye weaves their distanced, subjective voices into the raw texture of protest imagery, examining how pictures of resistance carry political weight far beyond the moment of capture. Formally inventive and quietly arresting, it treats the act of looking as both wound and weapon.
