Disoriented and drenched in sweat, Herbert Grob wakes up in the middle of the night, one of countless nights in which his terrible memories robbed him of his sleep. Herbert's first summer after the end of World War 2 was looking promising. At the age of 17 he falls in love with Eva, however, two weeks later the couple would be torn apart. The Soviet Occupation arrests Herbert and his childhood friend Hans-Georg, accusing them of beloning to a Nazi remenant group, the so called 'Werewolves'.
