Synopsis
"Germany has so much bling, why not let everyone in? Why 'women's push-ups' and 'not bad for a girl'?"Over three transformative years, Jamila(9), Rachel(11) and Faseeha(12) of the rapcrew SISTERQUEENS challenge societal norms and battle gender expectations. They live in the center of Berlin and spark poignant questions about what self-determination means to them. Faseeha confronts artistic boundaries, Rachel explores self-empowerment and Jamila questions the role of the police. Together, they craft rap verses that skillfully disrupt conventions redefining feminism one verse at a time.
