Synopsis
Mañana Sol is a film about searching for meaning in retirement.Circa 1986, Jadranka and Aleksandar Pavlovic crossed paths in the Canary Islands and quickly fell in love, soon to be married. After a lifetime of shift work and self-employment in Germany, they washed back ashore along the Spanish island cliffside. There, where they met, they also parted ways. Living as friends now, on two separate islands they both find themselves combating the boredom of retirement alone. Jadranka decides to open a bar while Aleksandar finds himself struggling with heartbreak and physical decay.
