Gebrueder Beetz Filmproduktion (GBF) is one of the few German production companies specialising in the production and distribution of documentary programmes worldwide.
The company was founded 2000 by the brothers Reinhardt and Christian Beetz and is based in Cologne with production offices in Berlin and Hamburg.
In collaboration with authors and international independent producers, GBF develops and produces creative, award-winning documentaries, TV theme evenings, documentary series, reports and cultural-TV-magazines. As well as producing documentaries for the German national market, our goal is to produce high quality TV productions for the European and international market. Accordingly, GBF has established an extensive network with co-producers worldwide. We are maintaining successful working relations with all major German and European broadcasters, such as ZDF, ARD, NDR, SWR, WDR, arte, 3-sat, BBC, YLE, DR2, SVT, NPS, ORF, etc. GBF is member of the German and European documentary associations ag-dok and EDN.
