The feature film ALPINE SHEPHERD'S LAST SUMMER follows the shepherd Peppi Hornsteiner from driving up his sheep flock with more than 400 animals to Alpine pastures in the Karwendel Mountains in spring, till bringing down the flock to the Mittenwald valley in fall. The film shows close insights of primary rural life in the high mountain region.
