Synopsis
Two young refugees navigate adolescence on the margins of a society that does not include them. Between asylum procedures, identity struggles, and the desire for an ordinary life, Majd and Shahfaisal live in a group home for unaccompanied minors in Germany. As they begin to define who they are, their daily lives are shaped by the constant threat of deportation, family expectations, and social exclusion. The film illuminates what happens after the flight and offers an empathetic perspective on a life stage that many in politics and the public overlook: coming of age in a state of exception.
