Synopsis
A wounded civilization. People who suddenly became displaced. Despair, resistance and courage. A friendship with Russian friends that breaks. Where war is not visible, it is raging in the heads. Only silently, to be heard from afar: A chorus of Russians trapped with their thoughts, who dare to raise their voices against the war. The film THE UNKNOWN LAND - DAS ANDERE LAND is a requiem for the dead of Ukraine, who died because of Russia's attack since 24.2.2022. And a bow to those people on the rift line between East and West. A film tries to keep the memory of what happened to all of us in 2022.
