Synopsis
Daniel Richter, German artist from Hamburg, painting new pictures for exhibition kunsthaus-hamburg, summer 2009, in his studio, Berlin, Auguststr., with his friend Jonathan Meese, and 2 giraffes and a lion. The film shows, without commentary, 30mins of 5 hours painting, their lightheartedness and cruelty, destructivity and creativity, swiftness of their hands and minds, musicality and humour.
