Synopsis
Tom was born in Israel. Her mother is a Gentile from Germany and her father a Jew of German origin. At the age of 20, Tom decides to move to Munich (Germany), where she studies, establishes a family with two children and develops a rich professional life as a film director. After sixteen years in Munich, Tom decides to return to what she feels to be her home. However, her children, born and educated as Germans, have to face the choice made by their mother. This movie describes this sentimentally painful journey, its problems, its contradiction and unravels some of the events and experiences she, her parents and sisters had to face?
