Synopsis
The struggle for survival of a city - not Kiev 2022 but Moscow 1941, when the Wehrmacht was closing to within a few miles, and countless volunteers threw themselves against it.
From the perspective of this film, the epochal drama has never been seen before: a chorus of voices, recorded in letters, announcements, but above all secret diary entries. They reflect life in Moscow in the last months of peace and the first months of war - the whole year 1941.
