In 1909 Wilhelm von Bode acquired a bust of the Greek flower goddess Flora, which he believed to be a Leonardo original. The art scandal that Bode is triggering in Europe is unprecedented in museum history and has not yet been conclusively clarified. An art thriller from Leonardo research.
