Synopsis
What happens if you take young muslim immigrants to locations of nowadays jewish life in Germany? You will discover that meetings between people can cause excessive demand. Happened to Yasser, a young German muslim, born in Germany, his parents coming from Egypt. Yasser knows the ‘Jews‘ from stories and from television.But when he really met a Jew, he did not know how to behave. Out of this lack of competence he called his mum: “Hey Mum, I met a Jew for the first time in my life, I did not know how to handle the situation!” Jewish traces is a film with humor and depth.
