Synopsis
The film tells the story of a region and its people in upheaval. With the imminent dismantling of the local lignite industry and the public protest against climate change, the region near Cologne is directly confronted. Willy, Sina and Thomas live in Bedburg, a town close to an active open-cast lignite mine and in the middle of several coal-fired power plants. The 3 residents from three generations are faced with the challenge to remain in structures or to break them up.
