Can I get a film directly from you?
No, unfortunately not. We offer a platform for the films here, but we do not act as an intermediary ourselves. However, we try to keep the contact details of the filmmakers as up to date as possible, so that you can contact them directly.

How can I place my film?
To place your film in our film datase, just write us a quick e-mail with the following information (in this numbered order):
The following information is required:
- English title
- German title
- Name of the director
- Year of completion
- Main country of production
- Co-production countries
- Production company, including address and contact details if applicable
- Short English summary (max. 600 characters)
- Festival participations/awards (optional)
- Length
- Format(s) (HD, DCP, DVD...)
- Original language(s) in the film
- Available language versions (subtitles, voice-over...)
- Color or b/w
- Rights holder for distribution/sales outside Germany
- Email address and/or website
- URL of the trailer on youtube or vimeo (for vimeo, make sure your video can be embeded, in the settings)
- Three film stills in landscape format, 72 dpi, long edge approx. 1200 pixels. As .jpg or .png – please clarify the rights to the photos to be published so that we can publish the images free of charge.
Please deliver the images (point 14) via permanent download link or email attachment.
In the subject line of the email, please include the English title of the film and “_german documentaries 2026.”
