16 March 2017: The nominees for the 2017 German Film Prize LOLA have been announced. Three documentaries are in the running for Germany's most important film prize:
Berlin Rebel High School (Dir. Alexander Kleider, Prod. Alexander Kleider, Daniela Michel)
CAHIER AFRICAIN (Dir. Heidi Specogna, Prod. Peter Spöoerri, Stefan Tolz)
No Land's Song (Dir. Ayat Najafi, Prod. Gunter Hanfgarn, Rouven Rech, Teresa Renn)
All three nominees are awarded €100,000. The winner will receive the golden Lola and €200,000. The winner will be announced in a gala ceremony on 28 April.
