Synopsis
Nach ”SPALTPROZESSE” und ”RESTRISIKO” ist nun der dritte Dokumentarfilm der Autoren Bertram Verhaag und Claus Strigel zur Atom-Thematik fertig geworden: ”DAS ACHTE GEBOT”. Nicht um den technischen Aspekt des Für und Wider geht es, nicht um Graphitreaktoren oder schnelle Brüter, nicht um die Auswirkungen der Strahlung. Es geht im ganzen Film nur um eines: um Umgangsformen. Der Film kreist um die Methoden der Atom-Herren, demonstriert das Vokabular der Betreiber, die Sprach-Werkzeuge der Kraftwerksdirektoren, die Worthülsen der Öffentlichkeitsreferenten und die Lügen der Politiker. Der Film belegt mit Dokumenten, dass Millionen Menschen in allen Atom-Staaten über fünf Jahrzehnte den immer gleichen Täuschungsmanövern unterzogen wurden und werden. Er umfasst die Zeitspanne von Otto Hahn bis hin zu Veba-Chef Bennigsen-Foerder, vom ersten Versuchsreaktor bis zur doch nicht gebauten Wiederaufarbeitungsanlage in Wackersdorf, von den Atomversuchen in Nevada bis zum Super-GAU in der Ukraine. ”Das achte Gebot” lässt keinen Zweifel: Die Atomgeschichte ist eine Geschichte von Lug und Trug. Und Gewalt.
