Mitrovica, in northern Kosovo, is divided in two by the river Ibar. On one side live the Serbs, and on the other, the Albanians. While on an artist residency there, Yaela Gottlieb, a Peruvian filmmaker of Romanian heritage, composed this essay on separation.
